CHET has had several very successful ventures working in partnership with other organisations.
We now provide programmes for SEN schools. Parents and young people come on a few days residential visit with teaching staff.
We are keen to work with organisations who seek to provide opportunities for children and young people and who conform to CHET's Charter.
Recent successful initiatives have included working with disaffected year 7, 8 and 9 students. The programmes aim to provide a structured, safe and challenging opportunity to allow for self-examination and reflection, self-esteem building and positive coping strategies to allow the young people to remain in mainstream education and maximise learning.
Currently we are working with three local schools who have recieved Learning Away funding from The Paul Hamlyn Foundation.
